The Peterborough Medical Arts Building is a state-of-the-art 28,000 sq. ft. facility that contains practitioner clinics, specialist clinics, physiotherapy, dental, diagnostic imaging and retail on three floors. All but two of the tenant spaces were designed by Unity Design Studio, including all interior design.

The building needed to be flexible and the systems robust to accommodate current tenants and future changes in occupancy as well as possible expansion on a large downtown site. Wayfinding was paramount to support client engagement and interaction. The scale of the building is sympathetic to the public realm and pedestrian traffic addressing the sidewalk and the surrounding morphology.
